Adrian Knight's "Obsessions" Performed by Karl Larson

Adrian Knight'sObsessions, an evening-length work for solo piano, was commissioned, recorded, and released on CD earlier this year on Irritable Hedgehog, with an extended liner note by musicologist Will Robin. To end the year, Obsessions saw another performance, not by commissioner R. Andrew Lee, but rather by fellow new music virtuoso Karl Larson, who recently performed Obsessions at Spectrum, in New York. Larson has worked with fellow PSNY composer Scott Wollschleger on his Meditation on Dust, which he premiered with the String Orchestra of Brooklyn in 2015.

Check out R. Andrew Lee's recording of Obsessions below.
