Hannah Lash Signs With Ariel Artists
Nov. 23, 2015
Following Hannah Lash’s engagement as soloist in her own Concerto for Harp and Chamber Orchestra at Carnegie Hall last month, Ariel Artists announces the signing of Lash as harpist to its roster of performing artists. Lash’s career as a soloist blends programs of traditional repertoire with her own works that explore new territories for the instrument.
This season, Lash performs as part of the world premiere of her Cycle: (Song) for voice, harp, double bass and percussion at the Yale School of Music on February 9, as well as in the premiere of her Imaginary Preludes for Harp at Spectrum NYC on February 27. On April 7, Lash joins the JACK Quartet for a performance of her Filigree in Textile as part of a composer portrait of her works at Miller Theatre. On May 25, the New York Philharmonic hosts Lash in a performance of her harp and double bass duo Leaves, Space as part of its 2016 Biennial Festival.
