Victoria Borisova-Ollas's <em>... and time is running past midnight ...</em> Debuts with the Swedish Radio Orchestra

Swedish-Russian composer Victoria Borisova-Ollas receives the world premiere of a new work for orchestra, titled … and time is running past midnight …, on October 22 in Stockholm, Sweden. Joana Carneiro leads the Swedish Radio Orchestra in the premiere, followed by an additional performance on October 23. The work was commissioned by Swedish Radio Ltd.

Earlier this month, Borisova-Ollas’s string orchestra work, Colours of Autumn, received a performance by Orchestre d’Auvergne at the Opéra-Théâtre in Clermont-Ferrand, France, conducted by Roberto Fores Veses. The work receives another performance on November 29 in Jönköping, Sweden by the Jönköpings Sinfonietta, conducted by Eva Ollikainen.

On December 3, the Swedish Chamber Orchestra and Radio Choir give the world premiere of Borisova-Ollas’s Vinden som ingenting Minns, for choir and orchestra. The performance takes place in Örebro, Sweden, and is led by Thomas Dausgaard.
