Kurt Weill and Threepenny Opera Featured on BBC Radio 3, with a New Production by the BBC Philharmonic

Renowned Austrian composer HK Gruber conducts members of the BBC Philharmonic in a new production of the Weill/Brecht masterpiece The Threepenny Opera, for broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on Sunday, October 18. The production, created with a radio audience in mind, includes the full text in the Michael Feingold translation. Joseph Millson, Ute Gfrerer, Elen Rhys, Ruth Alexander-Rubin, Zubin Varla, and Rosalie Craig are the featured performers.

In conjunction with this performance, Kurt Weill will be the featured composer on BBC Radio 3's "Composer of the Week," October 19-23.
