James M. Kendrick Re-elected to ASCAP Board of Directors

We are delighted to announce the re-election of Schott Music Corporation/EAMDLLC President James M. Kendrick to the Board of Directors of ASCAP as representing Concert Music publishers. Mr. Kendrick, who holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, The Juilliard School, and Rutgers Law School, returned to Schott Music/EAM in March 2002, having helped establish the company beginning in 1977, and having served as outside counsel for several Schott Music Group companies and for EAM following a term as Chief Executive Officer of Boosey & Hawkes, Inc.
Mr. Kendrick is a director of several music foundations, including The Aaron Copland Fund for Music, The Amphion Foundation, the Koussevitzky Foundation, the Virgil Thomson Foundation, and he is counsel to the Music Publishers' Association of the United States. He also serves on the ASCAP Foundation Board and is co-chair of the ASCAP Symphony and Concert Committee.
