European American Music and Subito Music Form New Rental Service Center
Dec. 01, 2006
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
European American Music Distributors LLC, a member of the international Schott Music Group, and Subito Music Corporation, one of America’s leading publishers of contemporary classical music and a leading provider of printing and production services to classical publishers, has announced the formation of a new Rental Service Center to handle the distribution of the rental catalogs of both companies.
The Rental Service Center will be located in the Subito building at 60 Depot Street, Verona, New Jersey 07444, from which all orders will be shipped and returns received. However, order placement and customer service for the catalogs of European American Music will be handled from the EAM facility in New York, where Head of Rental Services Amy Dickinson will continue to manage the rental operations. Order placement and customer service for Subito's catalogs will continue to be handled from Subito's office in New Jersey by Publishing Manager David Murray.
EAM will manage the licensing of dramatic performances and audio-visual synchronizations of the prestigious Subito Music catalog. Licensing will be under the supervision of EAM Vice President Caroline Kane, also from the New York office.
Publishing and promotion of the EAM and Subito catalogs will continue to be operated independently by each company.
Commenting on the announcement, Peter Hanser-Strecker, Chairman of Schott Music, said: “We have worked with Steve Culbertson and his great team at Subito Music for many years in many ways. I am delighted that we can expand that relationship even further by setting up a state-of-the-art rental service center for EAM and Subito that will continue both companies’ strong tradition of excellent service.”
Stephen Culbertson, founder and President of Subito Music Corporation, said: “By bringing Schott/EAM's rental library fulfillment to our facility in Verona, we will increase efficiency and ensure excellent customer service for both companies. We are looking forward to working with the EAM staff as well as presenters around the country to accomplish this.”
