George Benjamin Featured as 2010 Ojai Music Festival Music Director; Into the Little Hill in West Coast Premiere
Jun. 08, 2010George Benjamin assumes the position of Music Director for the 2010 Ojai Music Festival as he leads several ensembles including the Ensemble Modern through performances of his own works and others throughout the festival. Benjamin also leads the Ensemble Modern in the West Coast premiere of his chamber opera Into the Little Hill.

Lewis Young Composer Fellow program with a free concert featuring four works commissioned by the orchestra throughout the fellowship program's history. Matthias Pintscher led the orchestra through the concert that included Johannes-Maria Staud's On Comparative Meteorology.
