World Premiere of Sebastian Hilli's You are the Earth Beneath You in Finland

On November 22, soprano Anu Komsi and the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Ana-Maria Helsing, premiered Sebastian Hilli's You are the Earth Beneath You (Du är jorden under dig) at the Schaumansalen in Pietarsaari, Finland. The six-movement work for soprano and orchestra is based on the vivid poetry from “Röster ur tingen” (1923) by Kerstin Söderholm. Texts were selected and translated from Swedish to English by the composer. You are the Earth Beneath You is dedicated to Anu Komsi who commissioned the work.
