World Premiere of Pierre Jalbert's <em>String Theory</em> with East Coast Chamber Orchestra

On May 13, the acclaimed, conductor-less East Coast Chamber Orchestra gives the world premiere of Pierre Jalbert’s new work for string orchestra, String Theory. The premiere takes place at the Perelman Theater, Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, PA.

String Theory was commissioned by the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society in celebration of its 30th anniversary season. Following its world premiere, the East Coast Chamber Orchestra gives the work’s New York premiere on May 14 at the Washington Irving High School as part of the Peoples’ Symphony Concerts series, followed by a performance on the Music Mondays series at New York’s Advent Lutheran Church on May 16.
