Universal Edition Offers Free Downloadable Score of New Cerha Work Momente

Universal Edition is pleased to announce that for a limited time, the study score of Friedrich Cerha’s new work Momente for orchestra will be available as a free download from www.universaledition.com. The offer is effective now through December 8. Momente, a Musica Viva Munich commission, will be premiered on December 1 in Munich’s Herkulessaal by the Bayerischer Rundfunk Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Arturo Tamay. The performance will be broadcast live on web radio courtesy of Bayern 4 Klassik.

An Austrian composer of many works for opera, orchestra, chamber ensembles and solo instruments, Cerha was recently awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement (leone doro alla carriera) of the Biennale di Venezia.
