Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra Records Yasushi Akutagawa’s Prima Sinfonia

On August 11, Three Shells released a new recording by the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Sachio Fujioka, which includes Yashushi Akutagawa's Prima Sinfonia. The recording was made with the express purpose of preserving Japanese masterpieces for future generations.  For over 30 years, professional orchestras have missed the opportunity to perform Akutagawa’s Prima Sinfonia and our hope is that this disc will bring greater attention to this substantial work.
