In advance of International Women's Day (March 8), Japanese publisher Zen-On celebrates the exceptional female composers on their roster by highlighting their compositions, from solo works to large-scale orchestral compositions, chamber works, pedagogical collections, and more. Featured composers include women from a variety of generations and musical styles including: Céleri Haruhata, Kae Hirakawa, Hitomi Kaneko, Tomiko Kohjiba, Masa Matsuura, Chihiro Todoroki, Maki Ueda, Chikako Yamanaka, and Mino Kabasawa.
