PWM Edition Announces the Warsaw Wind Ensemble Composition Contest 2020

PWM Edition and the Warsaw Wind Association are pleased to announce the Warsaw Wind Ensemble Composition Contest 2020 - International Composition Contest for Wind Orchestra

The Warsaw Wind Ensemble Composition Contest 2020 is the first edition of this international competition for composers. The purpose of the contest, open to composers of all nationalities, is to create premiere compositions for wind orchestra. Applications will be accepted until September 30. The Final Gala takes place on November 28 at the Ursynów District Cultural Centre in Warsaw, and includes performances of the winning compositions, lectures by composers and music theorists on specialized repertoire for wind orchestra, and an awards ceremony to celebrate the composer laureates.
