Performances of Nino Rota's Orchestral Works in Germany and Sweden

Nino Rota is one of the most successful and beloved composers of music for film. In addition, Rota composed numerous works of equal beauty for the concert hall, from symphonies and concertos to chamber works and cantatas. Pavel Baleff and the Loh-Orchester, with soloist Sebastian Hennemann, performend Nino Rota's Concerto No. 1 for violoncello and orchestra on September 28-29 at the Haus der Kunst in Sondershausen (September 28), and at the Theater im Anbau in Nordhausen, Germany (September 29).
