Opera Omaha Presents Sir Richard Rodney Bennett's Children's Opera All The King's Men

Opera Omaha presents five performances of Sir Richard Rodney Bennett's children's opera All the Kings Menthis month.Based upon the story that inspired the popular "Humpty-Dumpty" rhyme about a weapon of mass destruction created during the English Civil War, Opera Omaha's production of the Bennett opera runs from January 24 through 27. Featuring the Camerata Choir of the Nebraska Choral Arts Society and the Omaha Area Youth Orchestras, the performances give young performers a unique opportunity to work with leaders in the professional opera and theater world under the direction of conductor J Gawf and stage director Michael Shell. Opera Omaha's production of All the King's Men takes place at the Rose Theatre of Omaha.
