New Toru Takemitsu Publications and Brochure Available

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the death of Japanese composer Toru Takemitsu. One of the most famous composers of our time, Takemitsu’s works, from instrumental to orchestral, are performed regularly throughout the world.

In commemoration of his death, many concerts throughout the world will pay tribute to Takemitsu’s life and music. In this time of reflection, Schott has announced publication of two new volumes, as well as an updated composer brochure. Soon to be released are:
Family Tree (study score SJ 1158) 
Signals from Heaven (study score SJ 1159)
