World Premieres of New Arrangements and Editions of Works by Leoš Janáček

On September 19-20, Jakub Hrúša leads the Orchestre de Paris in the premiere performance of a new critical edition of Janáček's Taras Bulba by Jirí Zahrádka, and on September 28, Hrúša conducts the Bamberger Symphoniker in his own arrangement of the Große Suite from The Cunning Little Vixen

Additionally, on September 20, 22, and 23, the Seattle Symphony, conducted by Ludovic Morlot, performs Václav Talich's arrangement of Suite from The Cunning Little Vixen. 

Looking ahead to May 2019, the Ensemble Kontrapunkte, conducted by Peter Kueschnig, will perform the world premiere of Richard Dünser's arrangement of Janáček's On an Overgrown Path at the Musikverein in Vienna.
