Morgan Pochin Debut New Digital Choral Project with <em>Invictus</em>

The UK husband-wife composer team Morgan Pochin (James Morgan and Juliette Pochin) have launched a new Digital Choral Project in conjunction with their recent cantata Invictus. The digital project focuses on two movements from the cantata: No Rack Can Torture Me (for SATB chorus) and King John (for youth chorus). The educational videos, available on YouTube, are specialized by voice type and include an active score of the work alongside a conducting guide by James Morgan so that singers can practice on their own with a full digital chorus. 

Invictus was commissioned by the Brighton Festival Chorus and Brighton Festival Youth Choir to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta and the themes of liberty, justice and freedom associated with it. James Morgan led the premiere in June, 2015 with the City of London Sinfonia.
