On September 25, Luke Bedford's chamber opera Through His Teeth for three singers and eight players, will be premiered at the Meiningen Staatstheater in Germany. With a libretto by David Harrower, the work is conducted by Philippe Bach and directed by Ansgar Haag. Through His Teeth was commissioned by the Royal Opera House and premiered in 2014 to ecstatic reviews. Anne Ozorio of Opera Today said, "Can this be the best British opera in years?
