Storm Large performed The Seven Deadly Sins with the Houston Symphony conducted by Bramwell Tovey, on November 2-4. In addition, a new production of Der Jasager directed by Christoph Diem and conducted by Alexis Agrafiotis, opens at Staatstheater Braunschweig on November 11 and runs in repertory through December 19. The Lyric Opera of Kansas City presents Down in the Valley as part of its Exploration Series, on November 17. A new production of The Threepenny Opera, directed by Jean Lacornerie, and conducted by Jean-Robert Lay, tours to several cities in southern France, produced by Théâtre Croix-Rousse. The production opens in Lyon for three performances, November 17, 20, & 21, and then travels to the Opéra Grand Avignon on November 25, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi on December 15, with additional dates and cities in the new year. Finally, the University of Toronto performs Street Scene on November 22-25.
