Koji Fukumaru's The Wind Praise Added to Zen-On's Rental Catalogue
Sep. 29, 2024
The Wind Praise for wind orchestra by composer, Koji Fukumaru (b. 1997) has been added to Zen-On’s rental catalogue. Co-commissioned and premiered by conductor Takeshi Ooi and Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra, the work premiered at Nakano ZERO during the orchestra’s 163rd Subscription Concert on January 26, 2024.
The Wind Praise is a tasteful, celebratory, and attractive concert opener. In recent years, many of Fukumaru’s works have been performed extensively, both in Japan and abroad. Through his sincere and aspirational composition activities, Koji Fukumaru has become one of the most highly accomplished young composers. With much anticipation, we look forward to his future compoistions.
