James Adler's Memento mori: An AIDS Requiem Featured in Memorial Music Collection

In his new book Memento Mori: A Guide to Contemporary Memorial Music, Robert Chase has assembled a compendium of significant late 20th and early 21st century requiems and other types of memorial music. Included in this collection is a feature on the composer James Adler and his work Memento mori: An AIDS Requiem. Premiered in 1996, this requiem has since been performed throughout the US and Europe, and has been recorded by the AmorArtis Chorale and Orchestra under the direction of Johannes Somary for Albany Records (Troy 463). James Adler's Memento Mori: An AIDS Requiem is published by Lawson-Gould and available through European American Music Distributor's Rental Library.
