Wolfgang Rihm Celebrates 70

Universal Edition celebrates the 70th birthday of Wolfgang Rihm, who has enriched our publishing catalogue with hundreds of works since our collaboration began in the late 1970s. Rihm's oeuvre is a central part of UE's identity and has influenced the publishing discourse within UE for decades. His compositions present a creativity to the world which miraculously evolves, intertwines, constantly ramifies and never ceases to amaze us. These are the best proof that intellect and sensuality are not mutually exclusive. In deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude, UE wishes Wolfgang Rihm a very happy milestone birthday.
