Golfam Khayam Receives the Chitarra d’Oro - Revelation of the Year 2025 in Milan

In October, composer Golfam Khayam received the prize Chitarra d’Oro - Revelation of the Year 2025 at the 30th Convegno Internazionale di Chitarra in Milan during which time, legendary guitarist Pepe Romero was honored for his life’s work. As an active composer and guitarist, Khayan has enriched the contemporary guitar repertoire with innovative works and recordings. The Convegno, founded in 1996, is considered one of the leading international forums for the guitar today. Among former prize winners are Hans Werner Henze, whose compositions have significantly influenced the guitar repertoire.
