Florentin Ginot Performs Agata Zubel's Hand In Hand for Contrabass Solo in France and Belgium

Florentin Ginot, a remarkable soloist, leading interpreter of contemporary music, and member of the renowned Ensemble Musikfabrik, performed Agata Zubel's Hand in Hand for contrabass solo on February 8 in Paris at FESTIVAL PRÉSENCES (Maison de la Radio et de la Musique - Studio 104, France). Ginot performed the work a second time on February 28 at the Concertgebouw Brugge in Belgium.

Agata Zubel is a Polish composer and vocalist known for her unique vocal range and the use of techniques that challenge stereotypes. Zubel gives concerts throughout the world and has premiered numerous new works. In 2025, she was nominated to the composer’s prize awarded by The Fondation Prince Pierre de Monaco, in cooperation with the Rainier III Academy of Music and Theater and with the support of the Princess Grace Foundation. The nominees included Agata Zubel's Outside the Realm of Time.
