Editions Zimmermann & Lienau Now Available from Schott Music Worldwide

“Tervetuloa, parahin Jean!” We extend a warm welcome to the great Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, some of whose works are now available from Schott Music worldwide. 

As of April 1, our range of concert and stage works has been expanded to include music by Sibelius, as well as Carl Maria von Weber and Pablo de Sarasate, among others, thanks to our new partnership with the publishers Zimmermann and Robert Lienau who we now represent internationally. 

This cooperation with Zimmermann and Robert Lienau (formerly Schlesinger’sche Buch - und Musikalienhandlung Berlin) is more than simply a valuable addition to our portfolio: Both companies have a rich heritage reflecting 200 years of German and European culture and history. The catalogue includes masterworks by Carl Maria von Weber, Gaetano Donizetti, Frédéric Chopin, and Jean Sibelius, among others, with particular note to Sibelius's beloved Violin Concerto in both the well-known revised version as well as the recently published, virtuosic early version.
