Chaya Czernowin Wins GEMA's Top Prize for Stage Works

At the 13th annual German Music Authors’ (GEMA) award ceremony on March 24, 2022 in Berlin, Schott composer Chaya Czernowin was awarded the association's top prize for her stage works. Every year, GEMA awards prizes to authors from a wide range of musical genres for their outstanding musical work. Czernowin prevailed in one of two Classical music categories and was the prizewinner in the "Composition Music Theatre" category.
