Bent Frequency Duo Premieres Alvin Singleton's Every Next Day

Bent Frequency Duo (Jan Berry Baker, saxophone and Stuart Gerber, percussion) commissioned and performed the world premiere of Alvin Singleton's Every Next Day for soprano saxophone and vibraphone on November 5 at Lani Hall at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. The program featured the music of George Lewis and also included premieres by Lewis and Emily Koh.
Bent Frequency Duo will perform Every Next Day at Eyedrum in Atlanta, Georga on December 10.
In addition, Alvin Singleton's Argoru III for solo flute was recently featured on "Through Broken Time," a new recording by Jennifer Grim, released in September 2022 by New Focus Recordings. Learn more and purchase the recording here.
