Music by Arvo Pärt in Georgia, Toronto, Boston, and Reading

Performances of Arvo Pärt's music abound in January. On January 19, the 2018-19 Rebanks Fellows of The Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory Toronto perform Arvo Pärt's Tabula Rasa for two violins, string orchestra, and prepared piano; The Cantata Singers, under David Hoose, perform Arvo Pärt's Te Deum, on January 25 at Boston's Jordan Hall; and on January 26, the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, led by Timothy Verville and the GSO Chorus, directed by Bryan Black, perform "Musical Mirrors", pairing the music of Arvo Pärt with works by Franz Schubert. The program features Pärt's Da pacem Domine, Alleluia-Tropus, Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten, and Fratres for violin, strings, and percussion, featuring violinist Helen Kim. Also on January 26, the Reading Symphony Orchestra, led by Andrew Constantine, performs Pärt's Fratres for string orchestra and percussion.
