Maurice C.Whitney( Glens Falls , New York , 1909 – 1984 ) was een Amerikaanscomponist , muziekpedagoog en dirigent .Whitney was an American composer, music educator and conductor. For most of his career, Whitney worked as a soloist, conductor and composer in New York and Florida.Verder was werkte hij als koorleider en organist in kerken, hij leerde in openbare scholen en colleges. He was an organist and choirmaster in churches, taught in public schools and colleges, and wrote composed numerous works for theater and dance groups, wind bands, choirs and instrumental ensembles.
