World Premiere of Valgeir Sigurðsson’s <em>We Are In Time</em>

Valgeir Sigurðsson’s new music-theater work, We Are In Time premieres in Scotland on a tour produced by The Scottish Ensemble and Untitled Projects. There will be seven performances from February 25-March 6. We Are In Time explores the extraordinary and emotionally-charged journey of a transplanted heart, as it moves from one life to another. We Are In Time is scored for actor, two singers (Ruby Philogene and Jodie Landau), string ensemble and electronics. Notably, Scottish Ensemble musicians will flit between their roles as musicians, chorus and curious onlookers of the drama happening on stage.

This new collaboration between Scottish Ensemble, director Stewart Laing, writer Pamela Carter and composer Valgeir Sigurðsson is presented in association with Perth Theatre at Horsecross Arts, and produced by Raw Material.
