World Premiere of Richard Ayres's No. 54 "Aquarium" at Gaudeamus Muziekweek 2021

Canadian string quartet Quatuor Bozzini and Duo 7090 (Nora Mulder and Koen Kaptijn) performed the world premiere of Richard Ayres's No. 54 "Aquarium" on September 11 as part of Gaudeamus Muziekweek 2021. Scored for string quartet, trombone, and piano, the work was commissioned by Gaudeamus at the occasion of its 75th anniversary and TRACE: Canada/Netherlands 75 years.
