World Premiere of Mikołaj Górecki's Sinfonia concertante in Poland

On March 20, cellist Tomasz Strahl, the Polish Cello Quartet and the National Forum of Music Orchestra under the baton of George Tchitchinadze, will give the world premiere of Mikołaj Górecki's Sinfonia concertante for five cellos and orchestra at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, Poland. The work, commissioned by National Forum of Music and Polish Baltic Philharmonic, will be performed again on March 27 in Gdańsk by the Polish Baltic Philharmonic with Tomasz Strahl and the Polish Cello Quartet, led by George Tchitchinadze.
