World Premiere of Julian Anderson's Joy and a New Work for the Nash Ensemble

On March 24, the MDR Rundfunkchor led by Philipp Ahmann, performed the world premiere of Julian Anderson's Joy at the Peterskirche in Leipzig. Set to texts by Friedrich Nietzsche, Joy is written for mixed choir a cappella

Additionally, on March 28, the Nash Ensemble performed THUS for soprano, flute, clarinet, piano, violin and cello by Julian Anderson. The concert also featured Anderson’s Van Gogh Blue, Tombeau, "le 3 mai" from Eight Songs from Isolation.
