US Premiere of Neil Brand's Score to Alfred Hitchcock's <em>The Lodger</em>

Last month, Le Giornate del Cinema Muto, considered the world’s leading international silent-film festival, presented the world premiere of Neil Brand’s score to the Hitchcock silent film “The Lodger”. Indiana University with the collaboration of IU Cinema, IU Libraries Moving Image Archive, and the Music Scoring for Visual Media program in the Jacobs School of Music was the host of an inaugural US satellite festival of Le Giornate del Cinema Muto, bringing US premieres of some of the highlights from the October 2019 festival in Pordenone, including the US premiere of Neil Brand’s score on November 2.
