Jul. 14, 2010

On Saturday, August 28, The Cleveland Orchestra performs the world premiere of Toshio Hosokawa’s Woven Dreams, under the baton of Franz Welser-Möst. The work marks the fifth Roche Commission, with the previous Roche Commission being George Benjamin’s Duet, for piano and orchestra, which premiered in 2008 at the Lucerne Festival. Woven Dreams sees its Carnegie Hall debut with The Cleveland Orchestra this upcoming season.
