World Premiere Recording of Gregory Spears's Song Cycle Walden

Baritone Brian Mulligan and pianist Timothy Long premiered the work in 2018 at The Kennedy Center and gave the New York premiere at Carnegie Hall. Walden, based on the writings of Henry David Thoreau, is a fine addition to the contemporary American art song repertoire. 

Greegory Spears and Tracy K. Smith's opera Castor and Patience had its premiere at the Cincinnati Opera in July. Listen to the aria "Think You Know This Man" from the opera, sung by soprano Talise Trevigne, here:
