The Schott Journal Highlights the Music of Women Composers

Mar. 09, 2022

To mark the 111th International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022, the Schott Journal presented fourteen female composers with selected key works from their respective catalogues. Regular readers of the Schott Journal will be familiar with many of the names and works featured in the magazine's pages. Some of these individuals have been with Schott for a long time and others are relatively new, signed to publishing agreements during a renewed initiative to expand the Schott catalogue with works by composers from a wide range of diverse backgrounds and cultural experiences. Schott will continue to actively seek out new composers and works along these lines, continuing our mission to present to performing arts organizations worldwid the very best composers and works of our time.
