At Aranjuez, The Music of Joaquín Rodrigo Unites Us From Afar

On September 11, the RTVE Symphony Orchestra, led by Enrique García Asensio, performed an all-Rodrigo concert in the Plaza of the glorious Royal Palace of Aranjuez. The performance was livestreamed by RTVE and included Rodrigo's Adagio para orquesta de instrumentos de vientoTres viejos aires de danzaHomenaje a la Tempranica, and Concierto de Aranjuez featuring internationally-renowned guitarist, Pablo Sáinz Villeagas. The captivating performance was a remidner of the beauty of Joaquín Rodrigo's works, and of music's power to unite us all – even when we cannot be together in person.
