Both operas are part of Baerenreiter’s New Mozart Edition, critical editions of Mozart’s entire oeuvre, which offer researchers and performers unimpeachable texts based on all the available sources (generally Mozart's autograph manuscripts). The New Mozart Edition is regarded as one of the supreme achievements of Mozart scholarship of our time; modern performances of Mozart's music are unthinkable without them.
