Kenji Sakai's Visions — d'après Gabriele D'Annunzio in New Version for Countertenor and Piano

On July 18, countertenor Daichi Fujiki and pianist Masanori Kato will premiere a new version of Kenji Sakai's Visions — d'après Gabriele D'Annunzio for countertenor and piano at the Biwako Hall for the Performing Arts in Shiga, Japan. Originally composed for countertenor and orchestra, and premiered last year by The Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra and countertenor Daichi Fujiki, led by Sylvain Cambreling, Visions - d'après Gabriele D'Annunzio is composed in three movements: I. L'alba sepàra dalla luce l'ombra - II. La Pioggia nel Pineto - III. Il vento scrive. Texts are in Italian by the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio.
