New Works by Annamaria Kowalsky are Premiered in New York and Sweden

Annamaria Kowalsky's works for soloists – Autopoiesis, Perpetuo, and Childhood Memories – were premiered in New York on April 8 as part of the CreArt Music Festival. The composer's own visual artworks were used as part of the multimedia presentation. The concert was streamed on the Digital Concert Hall website.

In addition, Annamaria Kowalsky was commissioned to compose a piece for choir and orchestra as part of a multimedia production titled Xodus (The way out is inside) This production is a collaboration between Martin Fröst, artist Jesper Waldersten, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, and the Swedish Chamber Orchestra. The world premiere of Kowalsky's new work, Xodus Hymn will take place in Örebro, Sweden, on April 28, and will be performed again in Stockholm on May 5 & 7. A television recording of the work is also planned and can be viewed here beginning on May 22.
