Mark-Anthony Turnage Named Mead Composer-in-Residence at Chicago Symphony Orchestra

Congratulations to Mark-Anthony Turnage on his appointment as Mead Composer-in-Residence at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The two-year residency will span the Orchestra’s 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 concert seasons. As part of the residency with the CSO, Turnage will have individual works programmed on the orchestra's main subscription series and will work with CSO musicians to curate two MusicNOW new music concerts per season.
