Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto heroico Performed in Seville

The Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, led by Sebastian Perlowski, will perform Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto heroico on February 22-23. Originally composed for piano and orchestra, this performance will feature the marimba player, Conrado Moya, as soloist.

Concierto heroico was premiered in 1943 by Leopoldo Querol and the Orquesta Nacional de España under the baton of Ernesto Halffter.
