Suntory Hall Presents Chamber Music by Toshi Ichiyanagi and Joji Yuasa

On September 18, Suntory Hall presented a concert of chamber music by Toshi Ichiyanagi and Joji Yuasa that highlighted the evolution of their work over several decades. This concert was rescheduled after being postponed in March due to COVID-19. Compositions in the program included Toshi Ichiyanagi's Sonata (1954), In Memory of John Cage (1992-93), Mirage for shakuhachi & piano (1998), and Duo Interchange (2011), and Joji Yuasa's Projection Topologic (1959), Cosmos Haptic III -Kokuh- (1990), and Four Imaginary Landscapes from Bashô (2007-10).
